  • Perfect. Most of our clients are first-timers. Our photographer will literally demonstrate each pose first — she’ll show you exactly how to sit, move, and position yourself on the chair.   • Absolutely not! Boudoir is for every woman who is ready to celebrate herself exactly as she is. We don’t photograph models — we photograph real women. Women with stories, with depth, with curves, with character. And through thoughtful posing, expert lighting, and a warm, guided approach, our team brings out the most flattering and radiant version of you.

  • Not at all. How much skin you show is completely up to you. Our sessions are about confidence, self-expression, and celebrating you — not about revealing more than you’re comfortable with. Some clients choose a fully clothed, fashion-inspired look, while others embrace something more intimate.

  • The secret isn’t heavy editing — it’s flattering lighting, elegant posing, and highlighting your best features. About 90% of the result comes from what happens in the studio, and only 10% is refined in post-production. The real magic happens during your session — we love getting creative with our lighting to capture your best angles and highlight your beauty!

  •  Every woman does. Most describe it as life-changing. You’ll walk out taller, lighter, and more in love with yourself — and that feeling lingers long after the session ends.

  • Not at all! Your safety and comfort are our top priority. We’ll tailor the poses and session to suit your needs, ensuring you feel supported and relaxed throughout.

  • Velora Grace was born from a very personal experience. Eight years ago, I organised a boudoir shoot on my wedding day for my husband-to-be. While I absolutely loved my wedding photos, I felt so awkward during the boudoir shoot because the photographer didn’t provide much guidance.

    From that experience, I decided to create something completely different for our clients — a session where you are guided every step of the way, made to feel confident, comfortable, and celebrated, and the entire process is as enjoyable as the final images.

Can I Bring Someone With Me?

  • While you may bring one guest, please note, they’ll need to wait in our reception during the entire duration of your session. Most of our clients come in solo, and those who brought someone regretted it, as they found it harder to relax. If you’re like 99% of our clients, you may feel a little nervous being photographed — especially with someone watching every pose you make — that’s why we recommend you come solo and allow yourself to fully relax.

  • Couples’ sessions are available by request with clear boundaries and styling planned in advance.

    Please note, unless your partner is being photographed, they’ll need to wait in our reception during your session.

  • Absolutely. Every session is about connection, intimacy, and celebrating your unique story.

  • Mum & daughter sessions are available by request. Please note, unless your daughter is being photographed, they’ll need to wait in our reception during your session. If you’d like to add hair and makeup for your daughter, please contact our team to arrange a separate booking. This ensures each of you enjoys the full experience, including professional hair and makeup. A $250 booking fee applies per person.

  • We offer solo goddess sessions, couples’ boudoir, beauty makeovers, headshots and corporate, maternity and postpartum sessions, and milestone experiences. Every session is customised to your story.

  • The most important thing is staying true to yourself and choosing what makes you feel beautiful and confident. Each style celebrates a different facet of your beauty — the choice is yours, and every choice is perfect.

  •  Absolutely! You can absolutely do your session fully clothed — many of our clients choose a glamour or fashion-inspired style instead of boudoir. We’ll tailor the experience around your comfort level and the look you’d love to create.

  • While this isn’t part of our standard experience, it is beautifully included in our Bodyscape Session — a refined, artistic exploration of form and light. We’re delighted to offer this by special request, ensuring a comfortable, respectful, and empowering experience.

  • You’re welcome to! That said, it’s not essential — our team will guide you through everything and tailor the session to flatter your features and personality while staying true to the Velora Grace aesthetic.

  • Yes — with honour. These sessions are tender, timeless, and beautifully empowering.

  • Absolutely! You’re welcome to choose a theme that reflects your personality and vision. Whether you’re drawn to soft and romantic, bold and editorial, moody and artistic, or something completely unique — we’ll bring it to life.

  •  Bodyscaping is the dance of shadow and light — an art form that celebrates the body as a landscape of curves, lines, and texture. This style uses dramatic, artistic lighting to create timeless, sculptural images.

  • Absolutely! While many of our clients love our signature moody silhouette lighting, which is incredibly flattering, we also create editorial-style images on white, grey, or light backdrops.

  • This is traditional boudoir photography — sensual and suggestive, while remaining tasteful and elegant. Lingerie is the star here: high-waisted shorts with a lacy bra, a beautiful corset, or your favourite lingerie set — pieces that make you feel confident and sexy. 

  • Elegant boudoir is sexy, beautiful, and sophisticated all at once. You might choose a crisp button-down shirt, a flowing robe, or classic bed sheets draped around you. This style can include tasteful topless images created through careful posing and lighting.

  • Casual / Cozy boudoir is perfect if you prefer comfort over lingerie. Think soft sweaters, comfortable loungewear, or even your partner’s favourite shirt, creating intimate and inviting images that show your natural, comfortable side.

What To Bring?

  • The single most important consideration when you are choosing your outfits is that you feel comfortable and confident. Start by thinking about what reflects your energy, your style, and your confidence.

    This isn’t about dressing up for anyone else — it’s about honouring yourself and what makes you feel strong, sexy, and magnetic.

  •  No, not at all. What you wear is completely up to you. Many clients choose cozy robes, elegant dresses, or even a simple white shirt — anything that makes you feel confident, beautiful, and authentically yourself.

  • Bring at least 2-3 options; we’ll photograph at least 2 of your best looks. We always recommend quality over quantity, so choose pieces that make you feel confident and beautiful.

  • Not necessarily. Bring what fits you well and makes you feel amazing. If you want to shop, we love Bras n Things, City Chic, Lovehoney, and of course Honey Birdette. Some of our favourite spots to grab beautiful lingerie are anything but expensive.

  • No, we do not provide lingerie or personal items. We have a couple of lace robes that you are more than welcome to try on at your session. 

  • We have two important things to mention before you start selecting bra and panty sets. The first is that thongs and cheekies are the two types of underwear that we recommend – they are the most flattering and they photograph the best. Secondly, consider selecting lingerie one size up from your usual fit to avoid any skin indentations.

  •  Bodysuits are an absolute favourite of ours for boudoir sessions. Elegant, timeless, and effortlessly sophisticated. There’s nothing more sexy than leaving a little bit to the imagination… and isn’t that the essence of true sensuality?

  • Absolutely. Confidence is the sexiest outfit. Many of our most captivating portraits involve silk slips, cozy sweaters, or elegant dresses.

  • Want to add a softer, more understated look? Absolutely. Some of the most impactful images come from a white tank, an oversized tee, or a white button-down — these can be incredibly powerful and sexy in photos! It’s not about what you wear — it’s about how you feel in it.

  • Yes — feel free to bring options and we'll give you advice on what will look best on camera.

  • Yes - absolutely! Consider bringing something from their wardrobe — a shirt, tie, or even their favourite band tee. A simple touch can make the moment even more meaningful.

  • Black, nude, red — it’s up to you. Heels not only complete the look but also accentuate your legs, bum, and posture beautifully in photos.

  • Before your session, remove any tags or stray fibers from your lingerie. This ensures a flawless look in your photos and keeps the focus on you.

  • Absolutely! Your veil (or other wedding accessories) can be a beautiful addition to your session.

  • Yes — you’re welcome to bring whatever makes you feel confident and empowered! Our photography style focuses on elegance and sensuality rather than explicit imagery, so we’ll guide you to incorporate your props tastefully to keep the session classy and empowering.

Beauty, Hair & Makeup Prep

  • Yes — with our “Goddess Experience.” Our make up artists will work closely with you to bring your vision to life as you chat through the look you’d love to achieve. This is a fully collaborative process, so don’t hesitate to share your ideas or ask questions along the way. 

  • No, they don’t. Our fabulous makeup & hair stylists have all the tools to make you feel the most beautiful in your own skin!

  • On average, makeup takes around 40–50 minutes, and hair styling takes about 7–10 minutes. Our professional artist knows exactly how to create a flawless, camera-ready look.

  • Please arrive with hair washed and dried from the previous day. Please blow dry your hair as straight as you can get it, without using a hair straightener. It's important that you do not wash your hair on the day of the shoot and do not arrive with wet hair. We offer a dry hair styling session only, so hair must be dry upon arrival.

  • If you have naturally curly hair and would like to enhance your natural curls for your shoot, please arrive with your hair washed and blow-dried with your usual styling products applied. We will then define the curls to make them look more polished.

  • We love all hair types and textures. However, since our makeup & hair prep time is around one hour, we recommend arriving with your hair clean, dry, and blow-dried smooth if you’d like a sleek or curled look. If you prefer to embrace your natural curls or waves, come with your hair clean, dry, and styled as you normally would, and our hairstylist will enhance your beautiful natural texture for a polished, camera-ready finish.

  • Absolutely - YES! We adore seeing clients embrace their natural texture. If you’d like to showcase your curls or waves, arrive with your hair clean, dry, and styled as you normally wear it. Our stylist will then work with your natural pattern to refine and enhance it for the camera.

  • That’s absolutely fine! Many clients prefer a more natural look (soft glam), and our stylists will work with you to capture your beauty just as you are.

  • Of course! You’re more than welcome to do your own makeup if you prefer. Our professional artist is always available if you’d like to simply relax and enjoy the full pampering experience, but the choice is entirely yours.

  • Absolutely — bring screenshots or examples! Our team loves collaborating on your vision.

  •  If you normally wear glasses, consider bringing contacts so we can capture some images without them. Feel free to bring your glasses too — they can be a stylish addition for certain shots, giving you a mix of looks in your gallery.

  • You don’t need anything elaborate — just make sure your nails look photo-ready! Fresh polish or clean and well-groomed nails is all that’s needed to complete your polished look.

  • Please arrive at your studio session with no makeup on. Ensure that you have cleansed and moisturised your face before arrival. Ensure you do not have any mascara on. Please let us know if you have any skin allergies or sensitivities before your scheduled shoot.

Bookings, Reschedules, Studio Information

  • Head over to our contact page and submit a form to get your consultation call scheduled! We do require a $100 booking fee that will pay for your hair and makeup and hold your session time in our calendar.

  • Since we book a professional hair and makeup artist exclusively for your session, we recommend booking 1–2 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time.

  • We understand life happens! Your $100 booking fee covers booking your hair and makeup artist and secures your session. You may reschedule with at least 7 days notice. Additional reschedules require a new booking fee because last-minute appointments cannot be refilled. Please note, the holding deposit will be forfeited if you reschedule more than once, fail to give 7 days notice, don’t show up, or cancel your session.

  • Because we have booked the hair and make up artist for you and reserved exclusive studio time, last-minute reschedules cannot be accommodated. In this case, your $100 holding deposit will be forfeited. Additional reschedules require a new booking fee because last-minute appointments cannot be refilled. We encourage giving at least 7 days notice for any changes to avoid losing your fee.

  • All of our boutique studios are centrally located and open by appointment only. To respect our clients’ privacy, we do not accept walk-ins. Once booked, we’ll email you all the details you need, including studio location, directions, and preparation tips for your session.

  • Yes, we are open by appointment only. To respect our clients’ privacy, we do not accept walk-ins. If you’d like a studio tour, give us a call and we’ll schedule that in for you.

  • Yes, there is parking onsite.

What Happens During My Session?

  • Nothing interrupts a fun, relaxed session like feeling rushed. Allow extra time for traffic and aim to arrive about 15 minutes before your scheduled start — this gives you a moment to settle in and enjoy every part of your experience.

  •  Wardrobe consultation and creative direction, professional hair and makeup (we specialise in soft glam), a luxury photoshoot experience, guided posing throughout the session, and a private Zoom reveal where you’ll view your images and design your order with one of our female Art Directors.

  • Your experience with our team typically lasts up to 2 hours — including prep, glam and shooting — depending on the complexity of your hair & makeup styling and number of outfit changes. This allows plenty of time to relax, enjoy the process, and capture a variety of beautiful, confident poses.

  • Light is the most important element in boudoir photography. Soft, flattering light enhances your features, while dramatic shadows add allure and depth.

  • Sessions take place in our professional, luxury boudoir studio. Our studio provides a private and comfortable environment. Hair and makeup is done right here as well.

  • A small, expert, all-female team dedicated to your comfort and artistry: your photographer, studio assistant, studio coordinator and hair & makeup artist.

  • Yes! Our team is entirely female, from photographers to stylists. We’ve created a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where you can feel completely comfortable, confident, and celebrated during your session.

What Happens After?

  • Within about a week, at your private Zoom reveal. Bring tissues — it’s emotional in the best way.

  • We guarantee you’ll love them. If you don’t love your portraits, as part of our 100% satisfaction guarantee, you will receive a complimentary re-shoot at no charge.

  • Absolutely! Our sessions make a beautiful, thoughtful gift. You can purchase a gift voucher so she can choose a date that works for her. It’s a perfect way to celebrate someone special and give them an unforgettable experience.

  • To ensure your artwork arrives in time for the holidays, we recommend placing your order no later than November 30. This allows our team to craft and ship your pieces with care, so you can enjoy your portraits or gift them beautifully for Christmas.

  • Of course! Most clients choose to keep their boudoir images as a surprise gift for their partner (think Birthday/Valentine’s Day/Father’s Day/Christmas gift), but if you’d like your significant other to be involved in purchasing the images, they’re more than welcome to join the Zoom call. We just ask that you let us know in advance so we can ensure everything runs smoothly and comfortably.

  • Boudoir sessions are a highly personal experience — and we’d be remiss if we didn’t tell you that our answer is “We recommend that you view this as a personal experience”. Your boudoir viewing is a moment meant just for you. It’s where you get to celebrate yourself, your confidence, and your journey without outside opinions or distractions. Every client who’s done it solo has said it was one of the best parts of the experience.

Images Editing, Privacy, Artwork Pricing

  • After your photography session, you’ll schedule a private Zoom reveal where you can view your images and place your order. At Velora Grace, we prioritise privacy, exclusivity, and a personalised experience. This gives you a relaxed, one-on-one experience to choose your favourite pieces in comfort.

  • Absolutely. Our editing process is very thorough and includes skin retouching to remove any unwanted blemishes, scars, or bruises. Please keep in mind that our mission as boudoir photographers is not to transform you unrecognisably. Instead, it's to showcase your inner and outer beauty in a way that feels and looks naturally like you.

  • We’ve been photographing clients for over 10 years, and almost any request you can imagine, we’ve encountered before. The answer is almost always yes — our team will work with you to ensure your images look exactly how you envision them.

  • We celebrate the real you — scars and all. But if there’s something you’d like softened in retouching, we’ll take care of it gracefully.

  • No — nothing leaves the studio without our artistic touch. Having said that, if you have a specific request for natural editing, minimal retouching, or to leave skin untouched, we’re happy to accommodate.

  • Your privacy is our utmost priority. We never share your images without your explicit consent. However, you might love some so much that you agree to let us share them – it's up to you, but it makes a huge difference for other women to see themselves represented.

  • Always. We respect your privacy and ensure that your images are kept confidential unless you give us permission to use them for promotional purposes.

  • Depending on the value of your voucher — whether it was gifted to you or you’ve been invited to participate in one of our projects — the specific inclusions will be outlined in your confirmation email.

    The $750 Boudoir voucher covers your $250 session experience + a $500 credit towards artwork.

  • Following your viewing and order session, your artist will get right to work editing your images. We allow up to 3-4 weeks for delivery of your retouched gallery. For printed artwork we allow up to 8-10 weeks for arrival.

  • Artwork and digital images are purchased separately. You only purchase what you love.

  • Heirloom albums and fine-art artwork; tangible reminders of your confidence and beauty. Our style of boudoir photography is as timeless and beautiful as any artwork you will find. While you might expect these portraits to stay a secret, many women leave our studio so proud of their results that they choose to preserve them as beautiful keepsakes to revisit and celebrate themselves time and time again.

  • If you are in the studio or price-shopping stage, you may have noticed that boudoir studios price their sessions in many different ways. At the end of the day, what you are truly investing in is the experience and the products you will receive. At Velora Grace, we want all of our Goddesses to understand that the most important part of your investment is our time and expertise. It takes skill and experience to create beautiful boudoir images, from the hair and makeup artistry, styling prep and photography process, to post-production and professional editing. Our boudoir experience requires a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to hold your spot in our calendar. From there, your total investment will be determined by the products you choose.

  • At Velora Grace,  every session is a one-of-a-kind experience, so we don’t offer set packages. Instead, we craft each experience around you and the artwork you choose. Investments start as low as $1000. Most of our clients invest between $2000–$5000 to curate a collection of portraits and bespoke artwork that reflects their personal style and vision.

    The exact investment depends on the images, sizes, and finishes you fall in love with during your session. Each piece is chosen after experiencing the magic of your session. 

    Custom Luxe Albums
    Our handcrafted 10x10 inch albums offer an intimate, private way to enjoy your portraits. Album pricing starts at $400 per spread.

    Archival Fine Art Matted Portraits
    Turn your favourite portraits into 12x8 inch museum-grade matted prints, perfect for framing individually or storing in a legacy box. A collection of 8 fine art matted prints starts at $2500, while a la carte prints are $500 each.

    Digital Collections
    Digital collections start at $1500.

    Wall Art & Wall Art Collections
    Display your portraits as prestigious wall art, transforming your space with elegance. Individual wall art pieces start at $1800. Wall art collections start at $3500.
